Overview

Tami Lewis is the Marketing & Communications Director of United Way of Lake County. The mission of United Way of Lake County (UWLC) is to measurably improve the quality of people’s lives in Lake County. UWLC helps fund and support over 60 programs through 43 partner agencies that help Lake County residents in need and address the critical issues of education, income, and health. Program funding is decided upon by groups of community volunteer panels from across the county who meet to review the value, effectiveness, and efficiency of programs submitted for funding.

Tami is a native of Willoughby, Ohio and a current resident of Mentor. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Cleveland State University. She spent well over a decade in Chicago as a marketing and communications executive in the retail service industry with emphasis on direct response marketing. Her background is in advertising, promotions, copywriting, production, media buying, public relations and corporate communications. She is also a graphic designer.
