Overview

Mac Mahaffee is the Director of Marketing and Brand at wkyc studios, the NBC affiliate in Cleveland.  He oversees all creative execution and multi-platform marketing for the station’s newscasts, talent, online and social platforms, and content as well as WKYC’s community initiatives.  Mac has been at wkyc studios for over 20 years and prior to that worked as a marketing producer at WFMY-TV, the CBS affiliate in Greensboro, North Carolina.  He has also worked as a Creative Director for Spectrum and done freelance sports production for ESPN, the Carolina Hurricanes and various regional sports networks.

Originally from North Carolina and holding a bachelor's degree in Communications from Appalachian State University (sorry, not sorry, Michigan fans), Mac lived in Mentor for twenty years upon moving to Ohio and now resides in Wickliffe.
