Overview

Dawn Plante has more than 25 years of marketing and communications experience for corporate and nonprofit organizations.

As Chief Communications Officer and Vice President for Community and College Relations at Lakeland Community College, Dawn provides strategic oversight for marketing, communications, public relations, student recruitment, and development.

Previously, Dawn served as Manager of Communications & Public Relations for Ben Venue Laboratories, Director of Communications for OfficeMax, Inc., Manager of Public Relations & Special Events at Lakeland, Director of Public Relations at Lake Erie College, and as a reporter for the News-Herald and Fairfield County Leader.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Marketing and Communications from Franklin University.

Dawn is a Leadership Lake County graduate and serves on the boards of the Lake Humane Society and Lake County Free Medical Clinic.
