I start with your audience: what they read, how they make decisions, what influences their decisions; and then I craft your message to deliver persuasive copy and resourceful, strategic public relations and marketing communications services so you accomplish your goals. I write for a wide range of clients – from associations to individuals, from local to international businesses. I pay attention to details, but stay focused on the end result, especially your bottom line.
I have both agency and corporate public relations experience. At the advertising-public relations firm Liggett-Stashower, I managed public relations initiatives for Preformed Line Products, East Ohio Gas, Sears Vision and TelServe. Prior to agency work, I was immersed in the corporate end of public relations and marketing. I managed public affairs, internal communications and community relations efforts for Time Warner Cable’s Northeast Ohio Division, reporting directly to the VP of public affairs. My work at Time Warner Cable earned a national Rising Star award from Women in Cable and Telecommunications and two awards from the Ohio Cable Television Association.
My degree is in public relations with a minor in business administration from Kent State University. I taught myself to speak Spanish and continue to meet with a bilingual speaking group with the goal of returning to Mexico to do volunteer work. I serve on the public relations committee for Lake Communicators, as well as the marketing and festival committees at Ss. Robert & William Parish in Euclid where I also serve as a lector. I am a voracious reader of non-fiction, and I especially love sharing newfound knowledge with my clients.
