August 10: Breakfast Meeting
Keys to a successful media relations program |
IN THIS ISSUE
|
|
Curtis Danberg, of the Cleveland Indians’ public relations department, will be the featured speaker at the Lake Communicators’ August 10th breakfast meeting. Danberg will provide insight into what he feels are the key components to a successful media relations program.
Danberg, in his 10th season as a member of the Cleveland Indians organization, began his career with the Tribe’s Media Relations Department as an unpaid game day intern. From there, he spent the next two seasons as a paid intern before being hired full-time in November 1998. |
|
Curtis’ role has changed over the years from dealing with the media and players on a daily basis to recently being promoted to manager, Communications and Creative Services. Currently, Danberg remains in the Indians’ PR department and oversees all Web site strategy, communications and publications.
Danberg is a 1992 Mentor High School graduate.
Reservations are required by Friday, August 5th by
calling Diana Lewis at 255-8932 or e-mailing
